The Free America Act

The definition of freedom is to be able to think, speak, and act without outside restriction.

Freedom is something all people are born with. Freedom is not given to people by their government.

This is a proposed Constitutional Amendment to regain those freedoms while ensuring those that do harm are held responsible.

The Free America Amendment
1. Definition of a victim – one who has had his body or property involuntarily violated by another.
2. The United States government and its agencies and agents shall not restrict any individual or group action without a victim.
3. Individuals and groups accused of crimes or misdeeds need not prove innocence but prosecutors shall maintain the burden of proving guilt.
4. The United States government and its agencies and agents shall not, in cause and effect, discriminate against any individual or group based on age, race, gender, religion, nationality, affiliation, marital status, sexual orientation, property, or lack thereof.
5. The United States government and its agencies and agents shall not restrict the rights of juries to decide the facts of the case as well as the justice of the law. Further, all jurors must be instructed on all their rights by the presiding judge.
6. The United States government and its agencies and agents shall not infringe an individual’s or group’s right to absolute control over one’s own private property.
7. All legislative bodies must fully read or have read to them in full all bills, acts, proposals, and other such would-be laws before voting them into law.
8. No elected officials may receive raises in pay without explicit voter consent.

If you'd like to make America free and believe this amendment is a step in the right direction, I suggest starting at the local level.

- Recognize that there's more to voting than just the candidates.

- Talk to high school and college kids old enough to vote.

- Find locals who support these ideas and start a local organization dedicated to spreading freedom.

- Oppose any state and federal laws as well as city and municipal ordinances that betray these principles when you vote.

- Try to get this proposal, either in part or in full, onto your next ballot. Either as an amendment to your State Constitution or as a law. Be sure to replace "United States" with your State's name.

- Be sure to include the proposal in the ballot itself. It's the cheapest and most effective form of advertising, allowing voters to read the proposal and decide for themselves.

Rome wasn't built in a day. People have fought wars, giving their lives for freedom. All you have to do is spread the word and vote.
